Renovation of a water / sewer project in Austin, Texas. Completed plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project.
Furnishing all labor, materials, tools and equipment, and performing all work required including all appurtenances for: Surge Tank Rehabilitation. Standard Specifications for Public Works Construction-Item 107.13, shall be modified to include the following: Water used for the mixing of concrete, testing, flushing or any other purpose incidental to the construction of this project may be obtained from existing City of Richardson fire hydrants at no cost to the Contractor. The Contractor shall make the necessary arrangements with the City of Richardson Customer Service Department to secure a temporary water meter which shall be requested by the Contractor and approved by the OWNER prior to installation. A deposit of One Thousand Dollars ($1,000.00) (refundable upon return of meter) is to be left with the Customer Service Department at 2100 E. Campbell Road, Richardson, Texas. Water shall only be taken in a manner and at such times so as not producing a traffic hazard or a harmful drain or decrease of pressure in the City water supply. In the event the City determines the water is not being used as part of this Project, or in any way feels the Contractor is misusing the water in conjunction with this Project, the City shall notify the Contractor and the Contractor shall be responsible for all charges and fines as determined by the City. All requests for additional information or clarification concerning this invitation to bid must be submitted, in writing, no later than Thursday, March 26, 2026 at 5:00 pm Central Time. Intent to Bid by Apr 14, 2026 2:00 PM CDT.
