Site work and paving for a road / highway in Jasper, Indiana. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway.
The work consists of the mill and overlay on various streets within the City of Jasper. Sealed bids must be submitted to the Board of Public Works and Safety, care of the City Engineer, at Jasper City Hall. Bids should be clearly marked for the "Jasper Streets Mill and Overlay Project 2026." Bid packages, plans, and specifications can be picked up at Jasper City Hall. A 100% Performance Bond and Payment Bond, as detailed in the specifications, is required before beginning work. All insurance specified must be in place prior to starting work. Each bid must be accompanied by a Bid Bond or Certified Check in the amount of 5% of the bid. All parts of Contractors Bid for Public Works (Form 96), including the Non-Collusion Affidavit, must be completed. Disclosures necessary for compliance with state Nepotism Policy requirements, an Indiana Legal Employment Declaration, and an Affidavit Regarding Non-responsibility are required. The Board of Public Works and Safety may reject any or all bids and may waive minor irregularities. Bids may be held for 30 days.
