Sealed bids are requested for College Avenue Housing-Carpet Replacement at the University of Missouri, Columbia, Missouri, Project Number CP260661. Drawings, specifications, and related contract information can be obtained through the UM System Construction Management software. Electronic bid sets are available at no cost. The project has a participation goal for Service-Disabled Veteran Business Enterprises (SDVE) of three percent (3%). The Owner reserves the right to waive informalities in bids and to reject any and all bids. Estimate: $136,800 - $152,000 *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The Contractor shall furnish all labor, materials, tools, equipment necessary for, and incidental to, construction of this project as indicated on the Drawings and specified herein. b. Work shall include everything requisite and necessary to finish work properly, notwithstanding that every item of labor or materials or accessories required to make project complete may not be specifically mentioned. eneral Description of Work: (1) Project consists of installation of approximately 12,500 square feet of flooring in various rooms as described in the drawings and specifications. (2) Demolition shall consist of approximately 12,500 square feet of carpet tile and associated 4" vinyl base as described in the drawings and specifications. (3) Interior Finish work shall consist of installation of carpet, vinyl base and flooring transitions as described in the drawings and specifications. 4. LOCATION a. Work shall be performed under this Contract on the campus of the University of Missouri - Columbia, at College Avenue Hall, 1300 Rollins St. This project has participation goal for Service-Disabled Veteran Business Enterprises (SDVE) of three percent (3%).
