The University is conducting an RFP for a New Tunnel-to Surface Communication System. The procurement is anticipated to involve negotiation. An electronic auction is not anticipated. The term of the contract is 9 months. Proponents will be evaluated based on technical submission (project experience, design approach, project team requirements) and financial submission (pricing). Proponents who do not achieve a minimum score of 52 out of 80 points in the technical evaluation will not proceed to the financial submission evaluation. Bidders must review the Tunnel Regulation Procedures and DSSR Summary for Consultants, sign the required pages, and return them by email no later than 24 hours prior to the walkthrough. Each proponent is limited to two representatives for the site visit to ensure safe movement in the tunnel environment.
