Reference Number 0000416099 The County of Wayne is requesting bids for the Rouge Valley Sewage Disposal System (RVSDS) Phase 2026 sewer televising project which will provide sewer inspections on portions of the system. Using the knowledge learned from the previous sewer televising efforts, in conjunction with historical data from the County and the sewer system flow modeling, project areas will be identified and prioritized. The inspection work includes condition evaluation of the sewer system utilizing the NASSCO Pipeline Assessment Certification Program (PACP), the industry standard for pipeline defect identification. Sewer inspections will be performed on pipes ranging from 36 to 78 inches in diameter. The construction contract for this project will also include alternate bid items to provide the County with the option to utilize Multi-Sensor inspections performed on siphons and constantly surcharged sewers. The Multi-Sensor inspection provides additional and potentially useful information on sewer segments where traditional CCTV methods are unviable due to submergence. Quantities for sewer cleaning are included in the contract for as needed use should any cleaning be required to complete inspection efforts.
