Site work and new construction of a fire / police facility in Tallahassee, Florida. Completed plans call for the construction of a 9,015-square-foot, one-story above grade fire / police facility; and for site work for a fire / police facility.

This project involves the construction of a fully designed Emergency Management Services (EMS) facility at 264 Joe Thomas Road in Quincy, Florida, funded by a HUD/CDBG grant. Sealed proposals are to be submitted as instructed. Bidders must not be on the convicted Respondent list following conviction for a public entity crime, and must comply with requirements regarding eligibility to transact business with public entities. The County reserves the right to waive informalities in any bid, reject any or all proposals, re-bid the project, or to accept the proposal that is deemed the lowest and best bid in the interest of the County. The County may also increase or decrease quantities as needed at the unit price bid. Participation from MBE/WBE businesses is encouraged, and the County emphasizes compliance with open and fair competition and equal opportunity employment. Structural Compliance: The design, certified by a Florida LicensedStructural Engineer, ensures roof and load path systems meet or exceed ASCE 7- wind load requirements, Risk Category IV, and Exposure C. 2. Wind and Impact Protection: Installations must meet Florida Building Code or Miami-Dade Specifications, with materials complying with ASTM E 1886, ASTM E 1996 (Level D or higher), and TAS 201, TAS 202, TAS 203 standards, as well as ICC 500 provisions. 3. Transfer Switch Installation: Install the transfer switch as specified in the design for backup power operation, in compliance with all regulations
