The work includes construction of in-stream structures on 2,400 feet of stream, riparian buffer plantings, and installation of a storm sewer bypass pipe. All bidders must bid on all items listed on the Bid Form. The successful bidder will be required to furnish a warranty bond in the amount of ten percent and performance and payment bonds in the amount of 100 percent of the contract price. This contract is subject to conditions including the PA Prevailing Wage Act, Architectural Barriers Act of 1968, Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973, PA Act 235 of 1965 (Universal Accessibility Act), Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) of 1990, Federal Occupational Safety and Health Act of 1970 (OSHA), Pennsylvania Act 229 of 2002, Pennsylvania One Call Act (Underground Utility Line Protection Law), Pennsylvania Human Relations Act 222, non-discrimination in Employment/Contract Compliance Regulations, requirement of a Non-Collusion Affidavit, and the Public Works Employment Verification Act.
