Site work and new construction of a mixed-use development in El Paso, Texas. Working plans call for the construction of a 50-acre fire / police facility; and fitness / recreation center.
This project involves the development of a consolidated 50-acre public safety campus in El Paso, Texas, combining a joint police and fire training academy, new headquarters, and vehicle maintenance and logistics facilities. Design work is scheduled to begin in April 2026 with completion projected for 2029. The scope includes an indoor dynamic shooting range, driving pad, Hogan’s Alley scenario areas, a fire tower, and supporting infrastructure. The project is funded through the 2019 public safety bond and is progressing under a design-build contract with Jordan Foster Construction. As of August 18, 2026, this project remains in design. A design / build firm has been selected and information regarding trade bids has not yet been established.
