Site work for a water / sewer project in Rural Valley, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
The project includes professional hydrogeologist services and test well drilling services required for the permitting and installation of a new water well for the Rural Valley water system. The professional services include a feasibility study, predrilling plan, continuous geologic log during drilling, preparation and submittal of a PADEP-acceptable monitoring plan, a comprehensive aquifer-testing program, hydrogeologic report, DEP permit application, and a pump system design. Test well drilling includes development of an access drive to the test well sites and installation of erosion and sedimentation controls. Specific drilling requirements are: 16” drilling and 12” casing from 0’–40’; 12” drilling and 8” casing from 40’–61’; 8” drilling from 61’–157’; preliminary test pumping each aquifer; 6” drilling from 157’–300’, with preliminary test pumping of each aquifer. Also required are furnishing and installing a 150 gpm pump system, metering equipment, transducers, conducting aquifer testing, lab testing for full new source sampling, drilling a 6” diameter, 300’ total depth monitoring well, and site restoration. Bids will be accepted only from bidders who have obtained official sets of bidding documents from Bankson Engineers, Inc. and who are on Bankson Engineers, Inc.’s list of planholders. All requests for interpretation must be received by the Engineer at least five days before the bid opening . Question Deadline 04/02/2026
