Renovation of an educational facility in Andover, Connecticut. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
The project consists of the selective demolition and comprehensive renovation of existing student and staff restroom facilities within the school. All work is to be performed within an occupied school facility and must be sequenced to achieve full restroom operational status prior to the start of the academic year. The scope includes careful coordination of utility shutdowns, protection of adjacent areas, firestopping at penetrations, and restoration of existing finishes impacted by construction. The project will be subject to prevailing wage rates and is tax exempt. There will be liquidated damages of $500.00 per calendar day for each day beyond the date of completion. All bids shall be submitted to the Andover Elementary School at 35 School Rd. Andover CT 06232. All bids must be sealed in an envelope and labeled with the project name, RFP number, and the name of the contractor submitting the bid. Bids are to be dropped off at the upper level, using the intercom on the right side of the door, stating the purpose of dropping off a bid.
