The City of Mississauga requires multiple Suppliers for city-wide landscape maintenance services. The contract is anticipated to be for a three-year duration, with the possibility of extension for up to two additional one-year terms. Scheduled maintenance will include turf and horticulture features within road allowances throughout the City. Approximately 17 hectares of turf and about 36,000 m2 of horticulture features are to be maintained citywide. Additional services may be required, including but not limited to: mulching, watering, soil and seed, litter removal, vegetation clearing, supply and installation of plant material, and hardscaping repair. Unscheduled maintenance work may be assigned as required, at the City’s discretion and within available budget, with no guarantee of any assignments or volume of work. The contract may be awarded to up to four suppliers, and if split, the lowest acceptable bidder will receive the largest portion based on price differences between the lowest bids.
