5.1. Detention Sliding Door Device Replacement at the Alachua County Jail The contractor shall perform onsite visits to the jail to review each door opening included in the work. This review shall include verification of whether the opening is configured as a single sliding door or a double sliding door assembly, as well as review of the existing sliding door housing, mechanical components, mounting conditions, and interface points. Field verification is required to confirm compatibility of the proposed replacement device with the existing steel detention doors and surrounding construction. The project will be bid using a unit-price structure, with all materials, hardware, delivery, labor, equipment, disposal, and related costs included in the applicable unit prices, as further defined in the Pricing Proposal.
