This contract provides for the improvement of Swan Creek between 64th Street East and Pioneer Way East, located within Swan Creek Park and within the jurisdictions of Pierce County and the City of Tacoma. Work includes the installation of engineered log structures using multiple material delivery and installation methods, with most work to be constructed below the Ordinary High-Water Mark (OHWM) within the permit specified in-water work windows. The tasks entail stream isolation and flow diversion, localized dewatering, and require personnel with demonstrable experience in successful stream channel construction. Additional work includes selective clearing, re-incorporation of all salvage woody material into project elements, establishing and restoring staging and access areas, traffic control, trail closure, erosion and sediment control, invasive weed removal, seeding, revegetation, and other work described in the Plans and Specifications. Bidders must adhere to all requirements as outlined for the project area and scope of work. Cost Range: $1,500,000.00 to 2,200,000.00 *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document.
