The selected vendor will provide a complete center-hung digital scoreboard system including engineering, fabrication, delivery, and installation support. The system will feature four-sided high-resolution LED displays, an upper halo ring display, a lower ribbon display, additional cameras for fan engagement and replay, an integrated media control system, structural fabrication and engineering, and on-site assembly and commissioning. The main display will be a four-sided 3.9mm LED pitch capable of scoreboard functions, video playback, advertising, and event presentation. The lower ribbon ring display will be a 2.9mm LED lower ring, continuous for advertising and event messaging. The media control system should be Motion Rocket Pro Media Controller or equivalent, with video playback, live content control, advertising integration, and game presentation graphics. The control system should be OES Controller or equivalent. Electrical requirements are 20 15 amp 220 volt circuits, with power and data connections supplied by others. The estimated structure weight is approximately 3,400 kg, and a forklift will be provided for installation; motors, if required, should be identified separately. Estimated shipping costs must be included in proposals. Vendor responsibilities include engineering review and structural requirements, manufacturing and fabrication, delivery and shipping coordination, on-site assembly and commissioning, training for facility staff, warranty and service documentation, and technical support information. Proposals must include company background and relevant experience, technical specifications of the proposed system, itemized pricing, production and installation timeline, warranty details, ongoing maintenance support options, and examples of comparable arena installations. Evaluation criteria include system quality and performance, vendor experience and references, cost and overall value, warranty and support services, and ability to meet the project timeline. Insurance requirements include commercial general liability insurance minimum $5,000,000 per occurrence, workers compensation coverage as required by Manitoba legislation, and automobile liability insurance for vehicles used in connection with the project. Compliance with all federal, provincial, and municipal regulations, Manitoba Workplace Safety and Health requirements, proper certifications for working at heights and rigging, and adherence to Stride Place safety procedures during installation are required. Payment terms will be negotiated but may include an initial deposit, a progress payment upon manufacturing completion or prior to shipment, and final payment upon installation and commissioning.
