The project is for Roadway Reshaping and Hot Bituminous Paving on County Road 8 (CMC 0716) in Burke County, North Dakota, from Burke County Road 11 to ND Hwy 8. The approximate quantities of work and material for construction include reshaping 24 miles of roadway, placing 960 tons of Aggregate Surface Course CL 13, 61,168 tons of Superpave FAA 42, and 3,793 tons of PG 58S-34 Asphalt Cement, along with incidental items. Bids are to be submitted on a cash payment basis and enclosed in a sealed envelope addressed to the County Auditor. Each bid must be accompanied by a Bidder’s Bond equal to five percent of the bid. The successful bidder must execute a contract and provide a Bidder’s Bond as required by law. The completion date for the project is October 17, 2026, after which liquidated damages will be assessed. The right is reserved to reject any or all bids, waive any informality, and hold the bids for up to thirty days from the bid opening.
