Sealed proposals are requested for furnishing all labor, tools, materials, and equipment necessary to perform sidewalk and curb ramps installation (Section IV) for a sanitary and improvement district. The work consists essentially of removing curb and gutter, sawcutting to full depth, constructing 5-inch PCC sidewalk, constructing 7-inch PCC pavement with integral curb and gutter, constructing PCC curb ramps, constructing 7-inch PCC imprinted surface, constructing detectable warning panels at 52 locations, installing seeding (Type A), and installing erosion control matting (Type S-150). Estimated quantities and items are specified in the proposal. Proposals must be submitted on provided bid forms, accompanied by a bid bond or certified check in the specified amount. Bidders must submit sealed proposals addressed as stated, with separate sealed bid security, all clearly marked with project identification. No proposal may be withdrawn for thirty days after the bid opening. The district reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive informalities or irregularities. Plans, specifications, and contract documents are available from the consulting group for a non-refundable fee.
