Site work and paving for a bridge / tunnel in Derby, Kansas. Completed plans call for site work for a bridge / tunnel.
Separate sealed bids are requested for the construction of English Street Concrete Box Replacement in Derby, Sedgwick County, Kansas. The project includes: traffic control, site restoration, seeding, pavement/subgrade removal (178 SY), removal and replacement of curb and gutter (122 LF), removal and replacement of concrete channel/flume (132 SY), removal of existing storm sewer structures, sidewalk removal (420 SF), asphaltic concrete pavement (5") (178 SY), crushed rock base with geogrid reinforcement (5") (224 SY), sidewalk (4") (532 SF), reinforced concrete box culvert, curb inlet (Type 1) (L=10' W=4') (3 EA), storm water sewer pipe (24" RCP) (62 LF), and erosion control. Bidders must comply with the President's Executive Order No. 11246 regarding nondiscrimination in employment. Proposals must include a certified or cashier’s check or acceptable bid bond for at least five percent (5%) of the proposal amount, made payable to the City of Derby and drawn on a Kansas bank or trust company. The checks or bonds will be retained until the contract is awarded.
