Reference Number 0000416106 Weld RE-4 School District (herein referred to as the District) is seeking proficient Contractors who are eligible to offer their services for the removal and replacement of the parking lots and select drive areas at Skyview and Mountain View Elementary schools, as outlined in the project documents and this Invitation for Bid. Skyview Elementary: 1000 Stone Mountain Drive, Windsor, CO 80550 Mountain View Elementary: 810 3rd Street, Windsor, CO 80550 The District will evaluate proposals and present a recommendation to the District's Board of Education for approval. Subject to and following approval by the Weld RE-4 Board of Education, the District will attempt to negotiate a contract for the Project at fair and reasonable terms. If the negotiations are unsuccessful with the Contractor, the District will attempt negotiations with the next Contractor in line for the Project. Although the District anticipates very qualified Contractors to submit Proposal Statements, it is ultimately up to the District's judgment as the client to select the Contractor that is the best qualified for the successful execution of the Project. The District reserves the right to award the project in its entirety to a single contractor or to split the award between multiple contractors (e.g., one contractor per school site) if it is determined to be in the best interest of the District. The successful Respondent(s) shall be required to furnish a Performance Bond and a Labor and Material Payment Bond, each in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the contract price. Bonds must be issued by a surety company authorized to do business in the State of Colorado and must be submitted to the District within ten (10) days of contract execution.
