Site work and paving for a sidewalk / parking lot in Antigonish, Nova Scotia. Completed plans call for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot.
The work shall generally comprise, but not necessarily be limited to, the provision of all labour, materials, and equipment for the sidewalk project along Appleseed Drive, Antigonish County. Work includes approximately 335 metres of sidewalk along Appleseed Drive, complete with tactile plates at various crossings, line painting, infilling ditches, and landscaping. Tender submissions are to be received electronically in PDF format, titled as specified, and sent to the provided email address, with hard copies mailed to the Municipality the same day. Each tender must include a certified cheque or bid bond valued at 10% of the bid amount and a Consent of Surety for the required fifty percent (50%) Performance Bond and fifty percent (50%) Labour and Materials Bond; alternatively, a certified cheque for 20% of the bid amount will be accepted as project securities. The Municipality reserves the right to reject any or all tenders, not necessarily accept the lowest tender, or accept any tender considered to be in the Municipality's best interest. The Municipality also reserves the right to waive formality, informality, or technicality in any tender. Tender documents may be obtained from Strait Engineering Limited, 298 Reeves St, Unit 9, Port Hawkesbury. A non-refundable fee of $50.00 is required for paper copies only.
