Site work for a water / sewer project in Cary, North Carolina. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
Sealed bids are requested for the furnishing of materials, labor, and equipment for the construction of the Farmington Woods Fire Line Extension, Project No. WT-3103, for the Town of Cary. The work includes approximately 610 linear feet of 6-inch ductile iron water main, one 6-inch gate valve, two fire hydrant assemblies, and one air release valve with manhole. Contractors must be licensed for the specified type of contracting in the State of North Carolina. All bids must include a non-collusive affidavit. Contractors and their subcontractors must comply with Article 2 of Chapter 64 of the North Carolina General Statutes, Verification of Work Authorization, and must provide required documentation, affidavits, or other documents as requested. Each proposal must include a bid deposit of no less than five percent (5%) of the bid amount in the specified form and conditions provided in the Instruction to Bidders. The Town of Cary reserves the right to reject any or all proposals.
