Alvin High School Renovation & Expansion Phase 1 Construction Package The project involves the renovation and expansion of Alvin High School, Phase #1 Construction Package. The scope includes demolition of approximately 40,000 square feet of auditorium and gymnasium, 14,000 square feet of building slab and foundation, sidewalks and paving, as well as the make safe of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and low voltage systems for demolition. Construction work comprises site grading, detention pond excavation, site utilities, new sidewalks, parking lots, building earthwork and foundations, structural steel fabrication, temporary perimeter fencing, and SWPPP. Proposals are solicited from subcontractors and material suppliers for these works. All proposals shall remain valid for a minimum period of ninety days unless noted otherwise and will be evaluated based on the best value for the client and the project schedule. The Owner and Construction Manager reserve the right to reject any and all proposals, waive any formalities and irregularities in the proposal process, and make awards in the best interest of the client.
