The Lake-Clifton Connector project involves a $12.3 million multi-phase civil infrastructure improvement led by Cuyahoga County in partnership with Lakewood and Rocky River. Work includes lane reductions, construction of Lakewood’s first roundabout at Lake Road, installation of a shared-use path, new decorative lighting, tree plantings, a mid-block crossing, drainage and milling work, and replacement of a crossover water main along a 1.2-mile section of West Clifton Boulevard from Linda Street to Webb Road. The project begins its first construction phase in spring 2026 and is expected to continue through September 2027.
