Jackson County, Missouri is seeking a Twelve (12) Month Term and Supply Contract with Three (3) Twelve (12) Month Options to Extend for the furnishing of Park Site Furnishings for use by the Parks + Rec Department. While exact usage cannot be determined, the County estimates an annual expenditure of $65,000.00 on Park Site Furnishings. Items will be ordered on an “As Needed” basis and may include alternative equipment from the successful vendor’s full line of Park Furnishings with applicable discounts. The primary, specific items and requirements are listed but the County reserves the right to add or delete locations as necessary and split the contract award among multiple bidders. Bidders do not have to bid on all items to be considered for award. All work performed under this Contract shall be performed in the Greater Kansas City Metropolitan Area. If the Bidder is not located in this area, documentation must be provided on company letterhead detailing how the work would be performed. If located in the area, company name and address, also on letterhead, must be submitted. Additional requirements include providing certificates of insurance, IRS W-9 Form, any required occupational licenses upon request, and maintaining updated email addresses for contract correspondence. The County is an exempt entity under Missouri State Sales Tax, and successful bidders may request a project-specific Sales Tax Exemption Certificate.
