Public Works Project- Psychiatric Health Facility (PHF) Utility Construction The work to be performed includes the extension of utilities to the proposed building site with restoration of soils, concrete structures, and paving affected by excavation, as well as testing and acceptance of work by utilities and permitting agencies. Bids must be for all work described unless the bid form specifically indicates a bid item is optional. The contractor will be required to possess an A contractor's license at the time the bid is submitted. For all bids over $25,000, each bidder must submit a cashier's check, certified check, or a bidder's bond in an amount equal to 10% of the total amount of the bid. The awarded bidder will be required to furnish a performance bond and a labor and materials bond guaranteeing faithful performance and payment of all debts related to this contract. This is a public works project and subject to the prevailing wage requirements of the California Labor Code. No bid will be considered unless it is made on a form furnished by the County of Nevada and is made according to the provisions of the proposal requirements and conditions set forth in the contract documents.
