Leon County is seeking the services of a FDOT prequalified contractor for the construction of intersection improvements on CR0361 Old Bainbridge Road at SR 263 Capital Circle. The project involves realigning Old Bainbridge Road with Capital Circle NW at Gateway Drive. The realignment will move the intersection 130 feet south of the current location and provide additional lane storage for right turn and through/left movements, using a curb and gutter typical section. The project includes constructing a northbound right turn lane and a southbound left turn lane on Capital Circle NW, widening the road to add the turn lane onto Old Bainbridge Road, milling and resurfacing approximately 1,000 feet of Capital Circle NW, constructing a stormwater management facility, piping stormwater conveyance under the new road alignment, removing unused pavement, vegetating the area, and extending Grandview Court to connect with the new alignment of Old Bainbridge Road. All work will be completed within the existing right of way. Prime Contractor shall possess current and valid FDOT pre-qualifications in the Drainage and Flexible Paving work class. Any Prime Contractor intending to use a Sub-Contractor for these work classes must identify the Sub-Contractor and submit their current and valid FDOT pre-qualifications in Drainage and Flexible Paving work class by the Proposal Submission Deadline to be considered responsive.
