Perform plumbing repairs and renewal at the shore side detachment facility of USCGC Obion in Owensboro, KY. All work must comply with state and federal codes. The contractor is responsible for acquiring all necessary permits and must provide all labor, tools, equipment, and materials required to remove existing piping and install new piping, fittings, insulation, anchors, and backflow preventers. Furnished items must include all relevant materials for completion of the project. The contractor must submit a statement designating the portions of contract work to be performed with their own forces, and all costs for material and equipment installed by such labor may be included. Bidders must be actively registered in SAM.gov and provide required representations. The contract will be awarded as a firm-fixed price purchase order to the lowest reasonable price technically acceptable bidder and is set aside for small businesses.
