As of May 12, 2026 project was awarded to SealTech, Inc., awarded amount is $115,045.76 The selected firm will perform crack sealing on existing asphalt pavements at the designated locations, meeting or exceeding the specifications in this proposal. The selected Contractor will be required to sign all necessary agreements and enter into a Contract with the County within 10 days after mailing of the Contract forms conforming with all the requirements of these specifications. The Contract shall incorporate the terms, conditions, and specifications contained in the proposal documents. DESCRIPTION OF WORK: This project will consist of sealing all random cracks in the asphalt pavement on the following highways: CSAH 2 - From TH 7 to CSAH 13 o Consisting of approximately 271 road stations (27,083 ft) o Milled and overlaid in 2020 o Chip Seal was applied from the north city limits to CSAH 13 in 2023 CSAH 4 - From TH 40 to North County Line o Consisting of approximately 159 road stations (15,906 ft) o Milled and overlaid in 2025 CSAH 5 - From CSAH 15 to TH 7 o Consisting of approximately 265 road stations (26,425 ft) o Milled and overlaid in 2025 CSAH 13 - From TH 7/59 to TH 29 o Consisting of approximately 251 road stations (25,086 ft) o Milled and overlaid in 2025 CSAH 18 - From TH CSAH 3 to CSAH 4 o Consisting of approximately 82 road stations (8,139 ft) o Milled and overlaid in 2025 All work must be completed by April 30, 2027. Route and seal bituminous pavement cracks on county roads in Chippewa County, MN. Work includes crack sealing repair and/or maintenance on CSAH 2, CSAH 4, CSAH 5, CSAH 13, and CSAH 18. Each bid must be accompanied by a certified check or bidder's bond made payable to Chippewa County in a sum not less than 5% of the bid. The County reserves the right to reject any and all bids, to waive any informalities therein, and to accept the bid deemed most advantageous to the County.
