The City of Miramar is soliciting quotes from qualified contractors to furnish all labor, materials, equipment, supervision, permitting, and incidentals necessary to provide and install approximately 815 linear feet of 6-foot-high black PVC-coated chain link fence, including four double swing gates and associated components at Sheraton Park. 2.1. Chain Link Fence Installation A. Furnish and install approximately 815 linear feet of 6-foot-high black PVC-coated chain link fence (black). B. Fence fabric shall be PVC-coated, 6 feet in height. C. Installation shall include posts, top rail, fittings, hardware, bottom tension wire, and all required accessories. 2.2. Double Swing Gates Provide and install the following black PVC-coated double drive gates: o Two (2) 30-foot-wide Double Swing Gates o Two (2) 25-foot-wide Double Swing Gates Gates shall be 6 feet in height and include heavy-duty hinges, latch assemblies, drop rods, cane bolts, and all required hardware. Gates shall be installed plumb, level, and capable of smooth operation. 2.3. Bottom Tension Wire A. Furnish and install approximately 815 linear feet of black PVCcoated bottom tension wire. B. Properly secure and tension along the base of the fence. 2.4 Posts A. Substitute and install eight (8) 4-inch posts. B. Posts shall be properly set in concrete footings in accordance with manufacturer recommendations and the Florida Building Code. 2.5 Installation Requirements A. All materials shall be new and free from defects. B. All components shall be black PVC-coated. C. Fence fabric shall be properly stretched and secured to prevent sagging. D. Contractor shall verify all field measurements prior to fabrication and installation. E. Contractor shall restore any disturbed areas. F. Contractor shall remove and properly dispose of all construction debris. G. All work shall comply with City of Miramar standards and applicable Florida Building Code requirements.
