Renovation of an educational facility in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
The work includes, but may not be limited to: - Upgrading the existing exterior walls, which includes removing existing glass blocks, constructing wall infill, and adding new insulation and cladding. - Replacing the existing exterior exit doors, sidelights, frames windows and blinds. - Removing existing asbestos vinyl floor tiles, including grinding floor mastic, by a qualified asbestos remediation specialist/subcontractor and replacing them with new vinyl flooring. - Removing the existing asphalt tarmac and constructing new at the revised elevation and configuration. Portions of the existing tarmac to be restored to grass using sod or hydroseeding. Re-grading is required to accommodate the increased tarmac elevation. - All required repairs/touch ups to the interior finishes, or other interior components (e.g., millwork) affected by the work are also included in the scope.
