Sealed bids are invited for the Kuna High School Gym Vestibules project. Bids must be submitted to Beniton Construction at their Meridian, Idaho address by the specified deadline and will be publicly opened and read aloud. There will be a pre-bid conference at the project site, which is recommended for trades needing to verify existing conditions. The owner may reject any or all bids or waive irregularities and will award a contract in the owner's best interest. The project is managed under a Construction Management approach. Separate work package bids must be on the prescribed bid form and accompanied by a certified or cashier's check from an Idaho bank or a bid bond with an Idaho-licensed surety company, amounting to at least 5% of the total bid, payable to the Kuna School District. The bid security is forfeited by the low bidder if they fail to sign the contract or provide the required Payment and Performance Bond. Performance and Payment Bonds of 100% of the contract amount are required within 10 days of a properly prepared agreement. All bond costs must be included in the bid. Contractors must be licensed in Idaho as per the state's Public Works Contractors' License Law.
