Site work and paving for a civil project in Park City, Illinois. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project; and for paving for a road / highway.
The project includes roadway and drainage improvements on a local road, grading, milling and overlay connecting IL Route 41 and Washington Street. The work also includes the installation of storm sewer as well as the carrying out of all duties and obligations and the furnishing of all labor, material, tools, equipment, and other incidentals necessary or convenient to the successful completion of the project. Plans and proposal forms may be obtained electronically by contacting Bleck Engineering Co., Inc. All proposals must be accompanied by a bid bond, bank cashier's check, bank draft, or certified check for not less than five percent of the amount of the bid. The project includes a Business Enterprise Program utilization goal of 28% (18% MBE and 10% WBE). The Awarding Authority reserves the right to waive technicalities and to reject any or all proposals. Quantities in the bid schedule are approximate, and payment will be made only for actual quantities performed and accepted or materials furnished. Submission of a bid confirms that the bidder has examined the plans and understands all requirements for performance of the work. Bidders are responsible for all errors in the proposal from failure to properly examine the plans. Proposals received after the specified time will be returned unopened. Permission to withdraw a proposal is given if the request is made in writing or in person before the opening of proposals.
