Renovation of an educational facility in Joliet, Illinois. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
Sealed bids are requested for the 2026 Renovation Work at Isaac Singleton Elementary School. Work is to be performed in accordance with proposed Contract Documents prepared by Healy Bender Patton & Been Architects. Bids are to be received on General Contract Work, including all trades. Bidders must complete a Registered Plan Holder Record form and a Bidding Documents License Agreement to obtain bidding documents and to be registered plan holders. Bidders are required to satisfactorily complete the Bidder Responsibility process as described in Section 01 00 00 - Bidder Responsibility Criteria of the Project Manual, providing all required documents along with their sealed bid. Each bid must be accompanied by a Bid Guarantee in the form of a Bid Bond, Certified Check, or Bank Draft in an amount not less than ten percent (10%) of the bid, made payable to Joliet Public Schools District 86. The successful bidder must provide a Performance Bond and a Labor and Material Payment Bond for the full contract amount, acceptable to the Owner. The contract is subject to the Illinois Prevailing Wage Act. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any informalities in bidding.
