The contract is for the design of the extension of Loma Colorado Boulevard from Silent Springs Drive to Broadmoor Boulevard. The project includes a two-lane roadway with auxiliary turn lanes, striping, lighting, signal improvements, development of a box culvert for road crossing over the Arroyo de Los Montoyas, and the addition of a roundabout at the intersection of Chessman Drive and Silent Springs Drive. All aspects of the design must meet State and Federal requirements to be eligible for future State and Federal funding.
