Specification All construction work for this project shall be performed in accordance with the Texas Department of Transportation, 2024 Standard Specifications for Construction of Highways, Streets, and Bridges, Construction Details; County of Dallas Special Provisions to the Standard Specifications; and Special Specifications. See Exhibits A, B, C, & D 1. Demolition and Site Preparation: a. Removal of approximately 11,150 square yards of asphalt pavement and base layers (approx. 10" depth). b. Removal of 42 square yards of concrete pavement. c. Temporary removal and storage of 18 concrete curb stops. d. Removal of 12 six-inch pipe bollards. e. Removal of 975 linear feet of concrete curb and gutter. f. Temporary removal and storage of 491 linear feet of wrought iron fence, including two key pads, a solar panel, and gate operator and motor for reinstallation. 2. Parking Lot Pavement and Drainage: a. Subgrade preparation to an 8-inch depth across 11,351 square yards, including lime treatment. b. Installation of 8.5-inch-thick TxDOT Type A flex base compacted pavement with 2.5-inch HMAC surface. c. Construction of 1,013 linear feet of 6-inch concrete curb and gutter. d. Reinstallation of 18 concrete curb stops and 12 six-inch pipe bollards. e. Installation of 821 linear feet of UB 24-2 Universal Tree Root Barrier along back of curb. f. Reinstallation of 491 linear feet of wrought iron fence with new posts, reusing existing fence panels, along with two key pads, solar panel, and gate operator and motor.
