Pursuant to the provisions of Government Code 2269, it is the intention of the Pflugerville Independent School District (the District) to select a Construction Manager-at-Risk through a one-step proposal process for the purpose of constructing a multipurpose room addition at Dessau Middle School and Pflugerville Middle School. Persons or entities submitting proposals are referred to herein as proposer(s). The awarded firm will be expected to provide services in accordance with specifications and conditions embodied within this document. 2. The scope of this project includes the construction of an approximately 4,000 square foot multipurpose room at 2 middle school locations. Campuses will include Dessau Middle School Pflugerville Middle School 3. The preliminary total construction budget for all campuses is $5,500,000. The actual budget may increase, depending upon Alternate Pricing, funding availability, and which campuses are awarded. 4. PfISD intends to complete these middle school multipurpose room additions within 1 calendar year from permit approvals. 5. Proposals are to include the information requested in the Proposal Instructions section of this Request for Proposals in the sequence and format prescribed. In addition to, and separate from the requested information, proposer(s) may provide supplementary materials further describing their capabilities and experience. 6. All changes and/or additions shall be posted by written addendum and shall become a part of the proposer's official proposal. 7.
