The San Diego Border Patrol Pistol Range requires a CBP certified armory storage building to be built outside the existing shooting range building located at 2301 McCain Road, San Diego, California. The range is currently using Connex buildings for storage which is out of compliance for ammo storage. The Ballistic Concrete Structure Building dimension is 70’-0 W X 25’-0 L X 15’-0 H. Square footage roughly 1,750. The entire structure will consist of Concrete Slab, Exterior Concrete Decorated Walls and Concrete Ceiling with explosive rated exterior and interior doors. The building structure will contain load rated shelving for palletized ammunition with additional secure storage. This facility will require significant soil stabilization and require auger cast concrete columns to a depth of 55 linear feet. All electrical components shall utilize explosion proof conduits, boxes, and devises for anything located within the new facility. This is a Design Build project the concept design and BOD’s are attached for your reference. All Proposals should be broken down as indicated on the attached proposal pricing sheet (labor/material/equipment). Your line-item pricing should include all your markups and spread out against all tasks. This is in addition to your formal proposal listing all activities and exclusions. The project is subject to prevailing wage and the Buy American Act.
