CDBG Accessibility Improvements for city-owned parking and public housing are being solicited. Bidders are invited to submit bids for the project. There will be a non-mandatory pre-bid meeting. Bids must be submitted by the specified deadline and location. This project involves replacement and accessibility improvements at three (3) parking facilities owned by the City of Oak Ridge that serve public housing sites. Planned work includes the installation of federally compliant accessible parking spaces, curb cuts, and ADA-accessible sidewalks. The work for this project will be done at three (3) locations within Oak Ridge, Tennessee: 10 Van Hicks Road, 76 Honeysuckle Lane, and 10 Joel Lane. The work will be done in accordance with the attached specifications. A detailed description of the work is set forth in Exhibit "A," which includes general specifications and requirements, as well as a map of where the work will take place for each of the three (3) sites. Invitation The City of Oak Ridge is soliciting bids for the provision of all labor, materials, supplies, tools, equipment, and other incidentals necessary for accessibility improvement work, to be completed at City-owned parking and public housing sites, specifically located in Oak Ridge, Tennessee, at 10 Van Hicks Road, 76 Honeysuckle Lane, and 10 Joel Lane, in accordance with the specifications, drawings, and the terms and provisions of the attached sample contract. The City will receive bids for this project until April 1, 2026, at 10:00 a.m., local time. At that time, the City will publicly open all received bids in the Central Services Complex Conference Room at 100 Woodbury Lane, Oak Ridge, Tennessee 37830. All bids must be completed and submitted on the Bid Form provided. The bid must include all options in this Invitation to Bid, unless the Bid Form provides otherwise. Bidders shall submit their bids on or before the time set for the opening of bids. Bids received after the time so set are late bids and will not be considered. The City will not accept electronic bids, late bids, unmarked envelopes, and/or incorrectly marked envelopes and will not open such bids.
