The Town of Orangeville is seeking bids from qualified bidders to supply janitorial services for 11 Town-owned facilities. The contract is expected to have an initial term of two years, with two optional one-year renewals at the Town's sole discretion, for a total contract length not exceeding four years. Staff entering or cleaning the OPP Facility require a mandatory OPP security clearance for all janitors, lead hands, and supervisors. The security clearance process takes approximately eight weeks from application submission, and there is no charge for the process. Bidders intending to submit a proposal are encouraged to begin the security clearance application process as soon as possible by contacting the Orangeville OPP detachment, where staff will provide forms and schedule fingerprinting appointments. There is a mandatory site visit starting at Town Hall, located at 87 Broadway, with all sites to be visited.
