The scope of work includes providing inspection services for all interior and exterior bleachers within the district. Interior bleacher inspections must be completed and a written report submitted no later than July 1 of each applicable year. Exterior bleacher inspections must be completed and a written report submitted no later than April 1 of each applicable year, unless otherwise directed. Any repairs identified during bleacher inspections must be addressed as required, with a reinspection conducted upon completion of repairs. If repairs are satisfactory, a signed and sealed certification stating the bleachers are safe for occupancy is required. Bleacher inspections will be conducted on an alternating annual schedule; exterior bleachers will be inspected in odd-numbered years and interior bleachers in even-numbered years. Athletic light poles are to be inspected on a three-year cycle, with inspections performed by zone on a rotating basis. This solicitation will be conducted as a two-phase selection process: Phase 1 evaluates submitted qualifications to identify the most highly qualified firm(s) based on demonstrated competence and qualifications; Phase 2 consists of negotiating a fair and reasonable price with the selected firm. If an agreement cannot be reached, negotiations will proceed with the next most qualified firm. The award may be made to a single or multiple firms at the district’s discretion based on the best value. Failure to provide complete and accurate information in response may negatively impact evaluation. Question Cut Off Date: 3/25/2026 02:00:00 PM (CT) The district reserves the option to extend the agreement up to 90 days beyond the performance period to ensure availability of services. The bid will automatically renew for two successive two-year terms unless the vendor notifies otherwise within 90 days of renewal.
