Ensure floor has a non-slip finish. 12. Ensure floor is finished with a topcoat to protect it from chemicals such as oil, salt and chlorides. 13. Perform a thorough inspection of the floor repair and resurfacing at various stages of the project. 14. Ensure all work complies with local building codes and manufacturer's product specifications.
