Separate and single prime contract sealed bids are requested for Pedestrian Footbridge Reconstruction and P/A System Replacement at John F. Kennedy Elementary School - EC-1. Bidders should deliver bids to the School District at the specified address by the designated time. The contract will be awarded to the lowest responsible bidder or proposals will be rejected within 45 days of opening. The School District reserves the right to waive informalities, accept or reject proposals or alternatives, and to advertise for new proposals if it considers it in its best interest. Bids must include bid security equal to ten percent (10%) of the total bid amount. Bidders must adhere to all instructions regarding examination and procurement of contract documents, bid addenda, and return of deposits. Bidders agree to possible schedule modifications due to State, Federal, or Local restrictions, with the only remedy being an extension of time as solely determined by the Owner. GC: Remove and reconstruct an existing pedestrian footbridge and all associated work. EC: Remove and replace existing P/A System in the building, and all associated work.
