Site work for a development in Cicero, Illinois. Completed plans call for site work for a conservation development.
The work consists of furnishing and planting approximately 300 trees in the Fall 2026 and Spring 2027 at designated Town parkway and right of way locations, including all other appurtenant work. All work must conform to the "Standard Specifications for Water and Sewer Main Construction in Illinois," dated 2020, and portions of the "Standard Specifications for Road and Bridge Construction," dated January 1, 2022. Plans and proposal forms are available for download only from QuestCDN via the Novotny Engineering website for a non-refundable charge. Only Contractors who have satisfactorily performed similar projects are entitled to receive proposal documents. Contractors not previously demonstrated on similar work must submit a "Statement of Experience" listing similar previous projects for evaluation. All proposals must be accompanied by a Bank Cashier's Check, Bank Draft, Certified Check, or Bid Bond for not less than five percent of the total bid. The Contractor is required to furnish a labor and material "Performance Bond" for the full contract amount and to pay Prevailing Wages as required by law. The contract will be awarded to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder, considering terms and conditions set by the Town. The Town reserves the right to determine responsibility at the time of award, to reject any or all proposals, to re-advertise, and to waive technicalities.
