The Hiltons Sewer Extension Project – Phase 2 – Contracts 1, 2, & 3 includes the following work: Contract 1 – Construction of approximately 22,946 L.F. of 8-inch diameter sewer line, 898 L.F. of 6-inch diameter sewer line, 2,900 L.F. of 4-inch diameter sewer line, 153 manholes, 96 sewer connections, 305 L.F. of 16-inch steel casing, 65 L.F. of 12-inch steel casing, 470 L.F. of 8-inch steel casing, 270 L.F. of concrete encasement, paving, and installation of associated appurtenances. Contract 2 – Base bid for construction of approximately 14,000 L.F. of 6-inch-diameter forcemain and associated appurtenances. Contract 3 – Base bid construction of a pump station, wetwell, generator, yard hydrant, associated appurtenances & controls, access road, and fencing. Bids will be received for a single prime Contract for each individual Contract, on a lump sum and unit price basis. Prospective bidders may examine and obtain the bidding documents as specified from the issuing office or electronically via specified websites and numbers, for nonrefundable fees. Printed copies may be obtained for a fee, and partial sets are not available. MBE/WBE firms are encouraged to submit bids. Bidders must comply with all applicable federal executive orders, acts, and requirements, including nondiscrimination and American Iron and Steel provisions, and certify against segregated facilities. All iron and steel products used in the project must be produced in the United States, with specified waivers applying.
