Reference Number 0000416722 Orange County, New York, through its Department of Public Works, Division of Environmental Facilities and Services ("County") is issued this Request for Proposals to solicit Proposals from qualified firms to provide construction management services for (1) expansion of the treatment capacity of the Harriman Wastewater Treatment Plant ("Harriman WWTP"), (2) improvements to the Harriman WWTP; (3) hydraulic capacity expansion of four (4) interceptors, (4) decommissioning and removal of six (6) pump stations, and (5) construction of replacement gravity sewer mains (the "Project"). The County's intent in developing this RFP is to encourage qualified firms to provide the best solution for the Project within the confines of the County's requirements as described in these documents. Key Responsibilities of the Construction Manager: Assist the County during the Design and Bid Phases of the portion of the Project (as defined herein) pertaining to the expansion of treatment capacity of and improvements to the Harriman WWTP; Provide high-level construction oversight and coordination; Collaborate with the County and design engineers for cost estimation, shop drawing review, and change orders; Ensure compliance with all project specifications, timelines, and budgets; Implement and enforce quality control and site safety measures; Manage project reporting and documentation to maintain transparency and accountability; and Oversee project closeout procedures in coordination with the County and design engineers.
