Site work and new construction of a water / sewer project in Boca Raton, Florida. Completed plans call for the construction of a one-story above grade water / sewer project; and for site work for a water / sewer project.

The work consists of furnishing all materials, labor, supervision, equipment, supplies, fees, expertise, and services necessary to construct a new reclaimed pump station on Lyons Road just north of Glades Road. The pump station will be a single-story building that includes new split case pumps with associated piping, valves, instruments, and accessories. Sealed bids must contain all required documents. Bidders and all subcontractors must register as vendors in Palm Beach County's Vendor Self Service (VSS) system. All subcontractor agreements must require VSS registration. Bids must be submitted on Palm Beach County forms and include a bid bond of at least 5% of the bid price. The successful bidder will be required to provide a public construction bond (100%) within fourteen calendar days of notification. All professional licenses or certifications required by the State of Florida and/or Palm Beach County must be possessed by bidders and identified subcontractors at the time of bid submission. There is a mandatory minimum 15% Small Business Enterprise (SBE) subcontracting goal for this project. Bids that do not meet this goal may be deemed non-responsive unless a waiver is requested at least seven days prior to the bid due date. Additional SBE forms and details are provided on the county's website. Bidders may obtain bid documents from the county website or designated plan houses, and must inform the County Water Utilities Department Project Manager if documents are obtained from a plan house in order to receive addenda and communications. A nonrefundable fee is required for physical document sets. The Board of County Commissioners reserves the right to waive bid irregularities, informalities, or technical deficiencies and to reject any or all bids.
