East Central University is seeking proposals from qualified, professional, licensed contractors to provide all labor, equipment, supplies, material, appurtenances, and incidentals required and necessary for the construction replacement, resurfacing, and conversion of select outdoor recreational sports courts and a metal storage building. The project includes rehabilitating the Oscar Parker Tennis Courts into tennis and pickleball courts, renovating the adjacent outdoor basketball courts to a playable and high-quality level, and renovating a storage shed and canopy covering the drinking fountain and electrical boxes. Bidders are responsible for all field measurements. Bidders must submit sealed bids clearly labeled as RFP #2026006 - Recreational Courts Project. All bids are to be submitted on the East Central University Bid Form. The project is subject to the rules under Oklahoma State Statute Title 61, Public Buildings and Public Works, and Oklahoma Department of Central Services Construction and Properties Administrative Rules OAC 580:20, and other applicable regulations. Bidders with bids in excess of $50,000 must provide all state-required bonding. All bidders are required to meet qualification requirements as established in the bid documents. Minority and Disadvantaged Business Enterprises are encouraged to respond and will not be discriminated against. All workers may be subject to background checks if required. Failure to conduct a thorough site inspection will not relieve bidders from their responsibility to provide a complete and comprehensive bid proposal.
