Scope of work includes stormwater basin improvements including site clearing, earthwork, erosion control, and installation of drainage and other concrete structures. Work also includes construction of a rain garden system, retaining wall and fencing, and final site restoration. Bidders are required to submit a surety in the form of a bond or equivalent meeting 10% of the overall bid price in compliance with the contract documents. Bid bonds will be returned to the non-awarded bidders upon the execution of the contract. The successful Bidder shall also be required to provide a Payment and Performance Bond in an amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the Contract amount within ten calendar days of receipt of written notice of acceptance of the Bid. A Maintenance Bond is required for a period of 12 Months from project completion at 15% of the cost of improvements. Bidders are not permitted to contact the Borough Engineer or staff directly. The project is subject to PA Prevailing Wage Requirements. The Borough reserves the right to reject any or all bids or to accept any portion of any bid, and to award contracts as is deemed best for the Borough.
