Site work and paving for a bridge / tunnel in Metairie, Louisiana. Completed plans call for site work for a bridge / tunnel.
The work is for furnishing all labor, materials, tools and equipment, supervision, and related requirements for Safety Bay Incident Ahead Signals, Project No. 214, in accordance with the provided plans and specifications. Bids may be submitted by an individual, corporation, partnership, limited partnership, L.L.C., joint venture, or L.L.P. All bids must be in accordance with the contract documents. Each bid must include a corporate resolution or written evidence of the authority of the person signing the bid, as specified by state law. The contract documents, including plans and specifications, are available for examination at the administrative offices of the Greater New Orleans Expressway Commission. Prime bidders must obtain an original set of bidding documents from the design professional. A certified check, cashier's check, or bid bond in the amount of 5% of the bid must accompany each submission. The project has been classified as Highway, Street and Bridge or Electrical Construction, and each bidder must obtain a contractor's license in the necessary classification from the Louisiana State Licensing Board for Contractors. Bids exceeding $50,000 require certification of an active license by indicating the contractor's Louisiana license number on the envelope and bid form. Bidders are required to certify their intent to comply with the Firearms Entity Special Provisions. The Greater New Orleans Expressway Commission reserves the right to reject all bids with just cause, to waive informalities, and to reject nonconforming, non-responsive, or conditional bids. Question Deadline 03/24/2026 Questions regarding the Project should be submitted in writing to Mr. Cary Bourgeois, G.E.C., Inc. (cbourgeois@gecinc.com). Nor oral interpretation obligating the GNOEC will be made to any Bidder as to the meaning of the Drawings, Specifications and Contract Documents. Every request for such an interpretation shall be made in writing and addressed and forwarded to the GNOEC and Engineer. Inquiries received with seven (7) calendar days prior to the day fixed for opening of the Bids may not be given consideration.
