This Invitation to Tender is for qualified and experienced vendors to supply, deliver, and support intrusive sewer area-velocity flow metering equipment suitable for installation in gravity sewer mains. The equipment will upgrade the existing wastewater flow monitoring network, addressing issues with current non-contact sensors in challenging site conditions. The intrusive area-velocity meters will also be used for temporary wastewater monitoring applications such as performance assessments of the wastewater collection system, inflow and infiltration studies, and operational diagnostics and troubleshooting activities. The equipment must be robust, accurate, serviceable, and able to reliably measure flow in partially full or surcharge sewer conditions, operating effectively where non-contact technologies are unsuitable.
