The work consists of providing all labor, equipment, and materials for the replacement of the existing traffic signal at the intersection of CR25A and Donn Davis Way in Tipp City, Ohio. The entire project must be completed by December 1, 2026. Materials and workmanship must conform to the State of Ohio Department of Transportation (ODOT) Construction and Materials Specifications, January 1, 2023, Edition or most recent Edition, unless otherwise noted. Proposals must include all items. The estimated cost of construction is $409,805. Bidders must be registered plan-holders and may obtain plans from the City website. Bids must be signed and include a guaranty that the successful bidder will enter into a contract with the City. A bid bond in the amount of 100% of the bid or a certified or cashier's check for 10% of the bid is required. The successful bidder must furnish a Performance Bond for 100% of the bid. All bidders must include a copy of their Workers Compensation Certificate and Certificate of Liability Insurance. The City of Tipp City reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive irregularities, and to accept any bid deemed in the City's best interest. All bids will remain subject to acceptance for 90 days after the bid opening, unless released earlier at the Citys discretion.
